For us, it’s personal. We’ve sat in waiting rooms with people we love. We’ve celebrated with those who beat the odds, stood beside those still fighting, and said goodbye to those who couldn’t win their battle. Every one of them has left a mark on us, and every one of them is the reason we’re doing this.
So, we’re doing something a little bit mad. We're thrilled to announce that we're taking part in Shitbox Rally 2027 - Spring! We’ll be hitting the road in our $1,500-or-less Shitbox, driving from Albury-Wodonga to Mackay on an unforgettable 7-day adventure. It’s not just about the drive; it’s about making a real difference in the fight against cancer.
Every dollar raised goes to Cancer Council, funding life-saving research, free support services for patients and families, and prevention programs that help protect the next generation. That means someone gets a trained voice on the end of the phone when they’re terrified. It means a family gets practical help at the hardest time of their lives. It means one day, more people get to hear the words “your results are clear.”
We can’t take the pain away from the people we love. But together, we can help make sure fewer families have to go through it.
Whether you give $5 or $500, you’re putting hope in someone’s heart. Please back us and help us drive towards a future with less cancer.
Thank you for being part of the journey!

They're doing what!?
Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
Donate NowEvery rally. Every dollar.

Box Rallies is the largest funder of cancer research in Australia — outside of the government. Every dollar supports Cancer Council.
